Three external evaluators reviewed the Art Department’s Self-Study.   To help encourage an open, yet confidential environment for the evaluators, the decision was made to list their responses as Reviewer 1, 2, and 3.

Below is a random list of the evaluators.

The evaluators were given the entire Program Review and asked to provide feedback for seven specific areas.

1. Assess the program/department goals and requirements.
2. Examine the plans and expectations for continuing program development and self-assessment.
3. Evaluate faculty and staff in regard to their training, experience, participation, etc.
4. Examine the adequacy of physical resources and facilities.
5. Evaluate the assessment of student learning practices to ensure skills, knowledge, and abilities are evaluated.
6. Summarize the major strengths and weaknesses of the program/department.  Include observations important to the evaluation of the program and provide recommendations.
7. Interview a random sampling of students in the program/department.
